Stourbridge FC Away - Match Pack
Stourbridge need very little introduction to The Yeltz fans, but here is our regular Match Pack feature for those who would like to know more about tonight's opponents.
Our Opponent
Founded in 1876, Stourbridge FC remain one of Halesowen Town's fiercest rivals. Known as the Glassboys, the club share their home, War Memorial Athletic Ground, with Stourbridge Cricket Club.
The Glassboys have a long list of honours, their more recent wins though being the Worcestershire Senior Cup in 2006/07 and Midland Alliance Champions in 2001-02 and 2002-03.
Form
Stourbridge have had a decent start to their campaign with three wins from the opening five games, beating Cirencester Town, Swindon Supermarine and Didcot Town. They have scored ten goals in total and conceded six.
Key Player
Kyle Brady has been banging the goals in this season, with five already this term he finds himself top of the goalscoring charts for the league.
The Yeltz Team News
Forward Nathan Smith is set to miss the match due to ankle injury. Defender Dallas Moore (hamstring) and winger Daryl Taylor (ankle) will both be facing late fitness tests before the game.
View From Our Dugout
Coach Rob Elmes fully expects a tough game, "This game is most likely our most difficult test of the season, they will obviously be up for it having lost to us three times in the last year, I can see it being a very physical battle."
